Service Engineer

Location: Based in Suzhou, China, with on-site customer and field-service activities

What you will do

• Serve as the key technical contact for after-sales issues in mining and crane applications.
• Collect customer requirements, site conditions, and service priorities.
• Provide on-site installation supervision and guidance for motorized cable reels, festoon systems, drag chains, and related applications.
• Troubleshoot site issues and support commissioning acceptance.
• Prepare service records, failure reports, photographs, test-data summaries, and corrective-action recommendations, tracking cases through closure.
• Coordinate with Sales, technical sales support, R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain on fault analysis and product or application improvements.

Requirements

• Electrical or related professional background.
• Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
• Experience with cable layout, cable selection, and cable tray or drag-chain wiring specifications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and related drawings.
• Knowledge of site safety management, commissioning acceptance, after-sales fault analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to compile technical documents such as test reports and service records.
