TL;DR
Equipment Engineer (Industrial Automation): Designing and developing machine software, equipment control systems, HMI interfaces, and industrial automation integrations with an accent on PLC, robotics, vision systems, motion control, and industrial communication protocols. Focus on integrating and debugging intelligent equipment, implementing real-time data acquisition and monitoring, and improving system stability through fault diagnosis and preventive maintenance.
Location: Shenzhen, China; onsite at Shenzhen Futian 1 Office

What you will do
- Design and develop machine software, workflow scheduling programs, and HMI interfaces for industrial equipment.
- Integrate and debug automation equipment connected to PLCs, robots, vision systems, and motion control systems.
- Develop equipment control, data acquisition, real-time monitoring, state machine, alarm, and operation log systems using C#, C++, and Python.
- Implement industrial communication protocols including Modbus, OPC UA, EtherCAT, and CAN bus.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on component selection and functional verification, and resolve software bugs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Optimize equipment software stability and performance while supporting fault diagnosis and preventive maintenance on the production line.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or higher in engineering, automation, electronic information, mechatronics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial equipment software integration.
- Proficiency in at least one of C#, C++, or Python, with experience using WinForms, WPF, or Qt for interface development.
- Complete project experience developing industrial upper-computer software and integrating industrial equipment.
- Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve software compatibility and operational stability issues.
- Must be able to work onsite in Shenzhen and accept onsite debugging at different project stages and short-term business trips.
Nice to have
- Experience delivering large-scale automation projects.
