Director of Engineering, Solution Architecture

What you will do

• Lead the architectural vision and technical strategy for complex client-facing solutions.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact for strategic clients, providing consulting, advisory services, executive presentations, and escalation support.
• Define architectural standards, principles, frameworks, technology roadmaps, and architecture governance processes.
• Oversee scalable application and data platform architectures, including design reviews and approval of architectural blueprints.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Solution Architecture Manager and architecture team members.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Data Engineering, Product, DevOps, Security, and business leadership to align technical solutions with business goals.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in technology, including at least 5+ years in architecture leadership or senior architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in solution architecture, cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure, and modern patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and API design.
• Experience designing and delivering complex, scalable solutions in client-facing environments.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and data platform architecture.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive and technical audiences.
• Experience establishing architectural governance, standards, and frameworks and developing high-performing architecture teams.

Nice to have

• GCP, AWS, or Azure architecture and cloud certifications.
• Experience in integrated marketing, digital agency, marketing services, or consulting environments.
