Director, Technology (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; not available for hire or work in New Mexico or Hawaii

Salary: $163,000–$200,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Partner with clients to understand technology needs, recommend solutions, build relationships, and support organic business development.
• Develop technology strategies aligned with business objectives and lead innovation across the technology practice.
• Oversee the assessment, planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain engineering quality through code reviews, testing, performance optimization, security, compliance, and risk management.
• Lead Adobe and AEM best practices, contribute technical prototypes, and guide delivery across enterprise platforms.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent while collaborating with creative, account, vendor, and cross-disciplinary partners.

Requirements

• Leadership experience building, scaling, and mentoring engineering teams of 10 or more developers.
• Experience leading full-stack teams across web and mobile platforms, including onshore, offshore, and globally distributed teams.
• Experience managing complex projects, multi-vendor deliveries, prioritization, quality, timelines, and risks.
• Expertise in modern architecture, enterprise platforms, digital marketing technology, multidisciplinary SDLC governance, and microservices at scale.
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, GCP, and Vercel, plus modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI coding tools, autonomous multi-agent systems, third-party API integrations, Auth0, premium content access control, and secure e-commerce payment flows.
