What you will do
- Lead the engineering strategy and technical roadmap for IAM services including lifecycle, entitlements, and privileged access.
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership and operational excellence.
- Drive multi-quarter evolution of the IAM platform, including migrations and the maturation of least-privilege models.
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, IT, Legal, and Compliance to ensure regulatory and reliability needs are met.
- Develop automated, API-driven paved paths for secure access to reduce manual toil and policy-driven friction.
- Oversee reliability and operational maturity for Tier-0 services, managing incident response and observability.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 11+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline (adjusted based on degree level).
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Proven track record of maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as Go, Java, Python, Ruby, or Rust.
Nice to have
- Experience with identity providers like Okta or Entra ID/Azure AD.
- Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and LDAP.
- Experience leading large-scale identity platform migrations or consolidations.
- Knowledge of privileged access management and operating security-critical services in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
