Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting - IDSW (Software Accounting)

Location: Remote, Florida, United States

Salary: USD 140,000–165,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Oversee accounting for internally developed software, including capitalization assessments, cost tracking, useful-life evaluations, policies, and controls.
• Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, tracking, disposals, subledger integrity, and process improvements.
• Oversee operating and finance lease accounting under ASC 842, including right-of-use assets, lease liabilities, remeasurements, modifications, and embedded lease assessments.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, flux analyses, and financial statement disclosures.
• Support external audits, strengthen ICFR controls, and drive automation, system enhancements, and ERP-related process improvements.
• Manage and mentor a team of hub accountants while collaborating with Engineering, Product, IT, Legal, Procurement, and Facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and Certified Public Accountant qualification.
• 7–10 years of progressive relevant experience in public accounting, preferably Big 4, or in a medium-to-large international organization.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 350-40 for software, ASC 360 for fixed assets, and ASC 842 for leases.
• Experience with US GAAP accounting and analysis, SOX-compliant controls, and multinational companies operating in multiple currencies.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation systems; SAP or OneStream experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with lease accounting tools such as Costar or Nakisa, plus strong Microsoft Office and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
