CCTV/Access Control Technician II

Location: Torrance, California, United States; onsite work in various physical environments is required.

Salary: Starting at $30.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for video surveillance, access control, and intercom systems.
• Install and upgrade systems from pre-installation testing through final deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve network, equipment, and security system issues using technical diagnostic tools.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings while maintaining installation quality and operational reliability.
• Collaborate with installation teams and management to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining IP/CCTV, access control, and intercom systems.
• Knowledge of network infrastructures, security equipment, and electrical and electronic principles.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder; company vehicles are limited and allocated through a waitlist.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work in varied physical environments.
• Strong communication, documentation, report-writing, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills.
