Senior Systems Design Engineer (Security Systems)

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage engineers responsible for creating and executing security system designs.
• Oversee project implementation, quality assurance, and compliance with stringent standards.
• Lead bid and proposal efforts, including technical writing for Statements of Work and technical upgrades.
• Guide systems verification testing and product and integration testing.
• Support the design and installation of IP camera, network, fiber-optic, and electrical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer technology, or a related field, or at least six years of electronic and/or security system design experience.
• At least five years of experience in IT systems, security solutions, fiber optics, or electrical technical work, including three years in system design.
• Experience with technical writing for Statements of Work, technical upgrades, and bid proposals.
• Supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license.
• Current US citizenship and eligibility to pass a government security investigation are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of network infrastructure and configuration.
• Experience designing and installing IP cameras.
• Proficiency with Visio, AutoCAD, Network Analyzers, OTDR, and other test instruments.
