Proposal Specialist, Justice+Civic

Location: Hybrid role based in Charlotte, Dallas, Minneapolis, Omaha, Orlando, Overland Park, or Sacramento, United States. Employees work in the office four days per week and may work away from the office on Fridays.

Salary: $55,000–$75,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Manage individual project pursuits and deliver compliant, on-time proposal materials with appropriate oversight.
• Write and produce project narratives, professional bios, resumes, project plates, and other pursuit content.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, engineers, planners, interiors specialists, and other multidisciplinary contributors.
• Prepare statements of qualifications, RFP responses, and interview deliverables from RFP receipt through interview completion.
• Record project and people information in the Vision firm database and maintain institutional knowledge.
• Perform comprehensive quality-control checks and maintain an up-to-date library of branded pursuit materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience creating, writing, and editing proposals in a professional services environment; AEC experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including PowerPoint and Teams.
• Familiarity with database information gathering; Deltek Vantagepoint experience is preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without work visa or residency sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience managing multiple concurrent deadlines and prioritizing competing requirements.
• Experience with SF330s and RFQ/P responses for government and public entities.
• Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to recommend responsive solutions.
