Senior Proposal Manager (Construction)

Location: Denver, Colorado office; onsite position

Salary: $90,000–$135,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead proposal kickoff meetings and win strategy sessions, defining responsibilities, timelines, and win themes.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, estimators, leadership, and other contributors to gather project information and develop key personnel resumes.
• Write, edit, proofread, organize, and format proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
• Analyze RFP and RFQ documents, including requirements, deadlines, evaluation criteria, industry data, statistics, and case studies.
• Coordinate proposal reviews, track action items, perform final quality checks, and support clarifications, BAFOs, and negotiations after bidding.
• Create market materials and collaborate with graphic designers on brochures, presentations, case studies, charts, diagrams, and images; represent the company at industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of proposal management experience, preferably in heavy civil or construction.
• Experience in persuasive writing, basic graphic design, and interviewing technical professionals.
• Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to develop compelling content and messaging.
• Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.
