Sourcing Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: $104,000–$130,000 USD per year for Phoenix, AZ or Chicago, IL, plus discretionary incentive plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead sourcing activities to identify, select, and contract with qualified vendors.
• Manage high-value and complex purchases of goods, technology hardware, software, and services.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and execute master agreements, vendor service agreements, statements of work, subscriptions, and licensing agreements.
• Improve cost efficiency, service levels, vendor performance, and procurement outcomes through benchmarking and strategic sourcing.
• Research alternative technology and professional-services suppliers to support product development and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Build effective relationships with internal departments, leadership, and external vendors while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, procurement, or a related field.
• Typically at least 8 years of progressive procurement or related experience.
• Strong negotiation, written communication, verbal communication, organization, project, and planning skills.
• Experience supporting marketing, technology, and professional-services procurement.
• Expertise analyzing and negotiating contractual language and pricing within a compliance framework.
• Experience with procurement laws and regulations, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, Microsoft productivity applications, enterprise financial systems, budgets, and accounting requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA in business or a related field.
• Knowledge of e-procurement technologies and workflow management.
• Experience with Dynamics GP and/or Coupa.
• 5–7 years of technology sourcing experience, including technology and professional-services category management.
