Sr. Sourcing Specialist

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

Base salary: $63,500–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead sourcing projects and category-specific strategies to reduce costs and mitigate supplier risk.
• Manage RFX events, bid analysis, sourcing recommendations, timelines, and related documentation.
• Develop negotiation strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Conduct price, cost, benefit, and financial analyses, including make-versus-buy and lease-versus-buy evaluations.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance through scorecards, feedback cycles, service-level agreements, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and legal teams to source requirements and manage contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement, category management, supplier management, or sourcing.
• Strong negotiation, contracting, communication, influence, leadership, presentation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience developing and implementing sourcing and negotiation strategies in complex, matrixed environments.
• Ability to perform financial analysis involving ROI, NPV, supplier financial status, and capital projects.
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other PC applications.
