Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist, Colocations (Data Center Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Bellevue, Washington, United States

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 per year plus bonus; Restricted Stock Units included.

What you will do

• Support sourcing strategies for cloud data center infrastructure equipment categories.
• Manage procurement activities from market analysis and strategy development through contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
• Partner with Data Center Engineering, Construction, and Operations to deliver value, mitigate risk, and support supplier decisions.
• Analyze product, pricing, vendor terms, quotes, and historical data to develop negotiation recommendations.
• Run concurrent RFI, RFQ, and RFP events, prepare bid summaries, and develop commercial award recommendations.
• Build supplier relationships and communicate project progress and potential challenges to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management.
• Foundational knowledge of category strategy development and cost-saving methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
• Experience with negotiation and effective deal-making.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth technology or startup environment.
• Exposure to data center colocation providers, including contracts, billing, invoicing, and provider relationship management.
• CPM, CPSM, CPSD, MCIPS, APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or CTSC certification, or pursuit of an MBA.
