Regional Property Manager (Student Housing)

Location: Based near San Marcos, Texas, with regular travel to assigned properties and emergency onsite coverage as needed. The posting also lists Chicago, Illinois, United States, as remote, but the role requires proximity to a major hub and physical property visits.

What you will do

• Manage operations, staffing, recruitment, training, and performance across a portfolio of properties.
• Inspect properties and oversee safety, maintenance, capital improvements, risk management, brand standards, and move-in and move-out processes.
• Review occupancy, delinquency, budgets, expenses, capital requests, contracts, invoices, work orders, and financial variance reports.
• Develop leasing, marketing, pricing, renewal, and revenue strategies using market data and property performance analytics.
• Oversee customer experience, resident events, reputation management, escalated complaints, and service improvements.
• Collaborate with general managers, regional revenue managers, capital teams, and corporate departments to achieve operational and revenue goals.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of property management experience with direct supervisory responsibility.
• Prior multi-site management experience is preferred; a college degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
• Must be based near a major hub such as San Marcos, Texas, and able to travel to assigned properties.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
