Engagement Manager II

Location: Remote across the United States and Canada; ideally based in Chicago or the San Francisco Bay Area.

Salary: $105,000–$150,000 annually, with potential additional earnings through annual bonuses and profit sharing.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and clients across specific engagements.
• Manage and mentor multidisciplinary digital and creative resources.
• Track deliverables, administrative work, risks, team capacity, and performance.
• Partner with Account and Recruiting teams on resource planning, selection, onboarding, and performance management.
• Review workflows, identify optimization opportunities, and improve team performance.
• Lead business reviews, operational initiatives, documentation, and training materials with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6 or more years of experience as a digital or creative project manager in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment.
• Experience managing direct reports, including performance reviews, feedback, and training.
• Strong business acumen, requirements gathering, solution development, and client relationship skills.
• Experience estimating project scope, managing budgets, and tracking project burn.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, production cycles, creative reviews, kickoffs, and project reviews.
• Excellent written and spoken English, including experience presenting to clients and senior leadership.
