Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and manage plant quality systems, procedures, safeguards, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate SPC systems, statistical tools, sampling plans, training, and continuous improvement activities.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints, internal failures, root causes, corrective actions, and non-conforming products.
• Manage internal, customer, and Quality System audits, including ISO 15378 and GFSI audits.
• Collaborate with product development engineers and customers on specifications, test methods, new product qualification, and quality issue resolution.
• Manage quality budgets, equipment, staff support, certificates of analysis, and communication of customer needs to the plant.

Requirements

• High school diploma with ASQ certifications required; a two-year degree in Quality, Statistics, Engineering, Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Coordinator, Quality Engineer, or in a related position.
• Knowledge of quality systems, systems auditing, statistical sampling plans, ANSI/ASQ/MilStd sampling plans, SPC, and statistical tools.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (cGMP), technical writing, mathematics, computers, and related software.
• Project management, leadership, collaboration, multitasking, communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations under 21 CFR Parts 110, 210, and 211.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager.
• Formal training as a continuous improvement team facilitator.
• Knowledge of molding and decorating processes.
