Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location: Kirkland, Quebec, Canada; full-time, on-site evening shift. Training is provided during the morning shift. The position involves work in a manufacturing and laboratory environment, including cleanroom gowning and handling controlled goods.

What you will do

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections against drawings, specifications, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Execute Customer Source Inspections and First Article Inspections, including AS9102 FAI activities.
• Inspect precision components using microscopes, magnification tools, calipers, depth gauges, and other measurement equipment.
• Record inspection and test data, maintain serialization and traceability records, and prepare Certificates of Compliance and customer-specific documentation.
• Identify and escalate non-conformances, support NCR/CAR corrective actions, and assist with root-cause investigations and verification.
• Support supplier evaluations, ISO audits, minor assembly, labeling, packaging, and the release of finished goods for shipping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or inspection roles.
• Basic knowledge of quality control principles, inspection methods, manufacturing processes, and product conformity requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ability to perform fine visual inspection, handle delicate high-reliability components, use measurement tools, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and French.

Nice to have

• Vocational or technical training in manufacturing, electronics, or mechanical inspection.
• Experience with internal audits.
• Experience inspecting PCBs or PCB assemblies.
