Maintenance Leader

Location: Onsite in St. Romuald, Quebec, Canada; includes 10% travel and field work in all weather conditions.

What you will do

• Coordinate and schedule preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance across all plant departments.
• Plan and lead shutdowns, outages, maintenance upgrades, and project activities.
• Act as the primary liaison between operations and maintenance, coordinating work requests and reporting completed work.
• Process work orders from notification through planning, scheduling, confirmation, and equipment-record updates.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, personnel, equipment, parts, and services while managing quotations and service requirements.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, assemble, disassemble, and repair rotating equipment including pumps, fans, blowers, and gearboxes; participate in root cause analysis.

Requirements

• French and English communication skills are required.
• Post-secondary trade certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Related industry experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to read, write, coordinate activities, and perform accurate arithmetic operations.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, wear a full or half-face respirator, and perform physical field duties including climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, and working at heights.
• Ability to work safely, accept responsibility, make decisions under stress, and adapt to changing duties.
