Senior Project Architect (Industrial Architecture)

Location: Preference for Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; or Atlanta, GA. US citizenship is required due to client contract requirements.

What you will do

• Lead planning, design, documentation, and construction administration for industrial and building projects, including data centers, water treatment facilities, manufacturing plants, office spaces, operations centers, and maintenance facilities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, planners, designers, engineers, technical experts, and project managers.
• Coordinate design activities and produce detailed construction documents and milestone deliverables.
• Manage scope and schedule with the Project Manager and coordinate work across all project phases.
• Lead client, internal, and governing-agency meetings and support code-compliance reviews.
• Perform QA/QC, technical reviews, specification writing, construction observation, and contract administration.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial architecture experience, including work on data centers, water treatment facilities, public utilities, operations centers, aerospace, or manufacturing projects.
• US citizenship required due to client contract requirements.
• Strong knowledge of technical design concepts, code applications, design management, digital technologies, and design workflows for industrial facilities.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring junior staff, and facilitating meetings with engineers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience as a licensed professional is strongly preferred.
• Master’s degree in Architecture is preferred.
