Project Architect (Mission Critical)

Location: Atlanta, Austin, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Des Moines, Durham, Fort Worth, Houston, Las Vegas, Lincoln, Nashville, Omaha, Orlando, Overland Park, Phoenix, Portland, or Tucson, United States. Four days in the office with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays; occasional travel is required.

What you will do

• Manage project document development and coordinate architectural, engineering, and other design disciplines.
• Lead the development of technical solutions for large, complex data centers, emergency call centers, industrial, and manufacturing projects.
• Supervise project design and technical development from conceptual design through project close-out.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other project team members to maintain quality, schedule, financial health, and claim prevention.
• Lead project teams in following practice standards and mentor architectural staff.
• Produce and review technical drawings and present design ideas in collaborative team environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Design.
• 4+ years of experience working on data center projects.
• Working knowledge of the design and construction process and ability to communicate with professionals from other disciplines.
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD computer modeling and rendering software.
• Ability to work in the office four days per week at one of the listed United States locations.
• Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.

Nice to have

• Professional licensure.
• LEED Accredited Professional credentials and experience with LEED or another green rating system.
• Experience and interest in sustainable building design.
• Current portfolio or work samples submitted in PDF format.
