Senior Interior Designer

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The role follows a four-day in-office work model, with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays.

What you will do

• Lead conceptual design, program development, and space planning across interior design projects.
• Develop and coordinate interior components of construction documents, technical plans, drawings, reports, and models.
• Oversee design details, materials, FF&E, products, and graphic presentations to ensure design intent and constructability.
• Attend site visits and construction administration meetings while coordinating with the integrated design team.
• Mentor junior staff and guide teams toward high-quality deliverables and design excellence.
• Lead client presentations, manage expectations, and support project schedules, budgets, profitability, marketing, and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
• At least 8 years of professional experience; experience with K-12 education, higher education, or Justice+Civic projects is preferred.
• Professional licensure is required.
• Proficiency in Revit, familiarity with Bluebeam, and strong proficiency with standard A/E/I/P software.
• Experience applying design techniques, tools, and sustainable principles to precise technical documentation.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• LEED AP or other green certification.
• Active participation in professional organizations and industry conferences.
• Experience contributing to client lead generation, business development, and marketing materials.
