Client Services Specialist (Laboratory Client Support)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, USA; on-site, 1st shift from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $20–$23 per hour

What you will do

• Manage inbound and outbound client calls and emails, answer routine questions, and provide basic technical or product support.
• Handle Sample Service Requests from intake through resolution, maintaining accurate case documentation and monitoring response times.
• Coordinate order, send-out, corrected-report, and result-release workflows with testing departments and internal teams.
• Update requisitions, archives, client accounts, and LabVantage records according to established processes.
• Document client interactions, gather feedback, monitor usage trends, and escalate complex or urgent issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures, quality-management requirements, confidentiality rules, data-security standards, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of customer service support experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with management and laboratory teams, and operate with minimal assistance.
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other business systems.
• Ability to work in a controlled laboratory environment and follow quality systems under regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field such as biology or chemistry.
• Prior laboratory experience through internships, research assistance, or scientific and health-related work.
