Design Coordinator

Expected compensation: $91,468–$108,882 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate design and process management through all phases of architectural projects.
• Develop concept, schematic, design development, and construction documentation.
• Analyze project sites, programs, and environmental factors, including applicable code and zoning requirements.
• Prepare architectural designs and construction documents while coordinating consultant drawings and models.
• Build and coordinate project models using Autodesk Revit or Rhino.
• Identify conflicts and issues, communicate them to the design team, and develop solutions with clients and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Credentials required to obtain future professional registration, with an interest in pursuing registration.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Strong leadership, communication, relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and documenting data centers, industrial buildings, medical or healthcare facilities, or other highly coordinated projects.
• Three years of experience with similar project types.
• Master’s degree in Architecture and two years of professional architectural internship.
• Graphic presentation skills and experience with Bluebeam PDF Editor.
• LEED accreditation or an interest in sustainable design.
