Pre and Post Sales Engineer (Data Center Power)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; the ideal candidate lives in the western US, with central and eastern US locations also considered. Travel 30–50% across mainly the US and Canada is required.

Total target cash range: $96,300–$205,400+ annually, depending on geographic region and other factors.

What you will do

• Act as a technical authority for hirify.global Smart Power Solutions across sales, product management, operations, and customer-facing functions.
• Provide first-line product support and technical application assistance before and after sales.
• Evaluate customer RFIs and RFQs and identify the best-fit products and services with the Smart Power team.
• Lead technical support for strategic accounts and provide assistance during late-stage projects and closing activities.
• Conduct customer training, review technical documentation, and prepare pre-sales, post-sales, and RMA documentation.
• Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and technical representation at industry events and voice-of-customer visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering, or equivalent experience in the data center power industry.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical applications role supporting data center power solutions is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel 30–50% across mainly the US and Canada.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong technical background in air and liquid cooling solutions for data centers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset; knowledge of data center power architecture from UPS to rack or equipment level is beneficial.
