Concept Design Engineer

What you will do

• Ideate and build prototypes demonstrating future product solutions.
• Create product demonstrations showcasing performance and features.
• Conduct feasibility testing and refine concepts for future product development.
• Collaborate with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, analytical teams, and project management groups.
• Manage budgets, schedules, quality expectations, and key project milestones.
• Communicate technical details and concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience in design, prototyping, and/or test fixture development.
• Experience with 3D CAD.
• Hands-on fabrication experience, including 3D printing, woodworking, or metalworking.
• Understanding of performance metrics such as power, speed, and torque.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, microcontrollers, and batteries.

Nice to have

• Experience with Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
• Experience using vibration and sound measurement equipment.
• An eye for aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Experience with rapid prototyping across different materials and processes.
