What you will do

• Manage technical contributions for assigned new product development programs and mature product support.
• Drive product function, cost, timing, reliability, and consumer-value objectives.
• Lead product architecture and original layout development for high-volume manufacturing.
• Evaluate design alternatives and implement approved designs into mass production.
• Integrate complex components and assemblies, select materials, and address packaging, safety, regulatory, and standards requirements.
• Develop specifications, prototypes, engineering plans, test programs, reviews, technical data packages, engineering changes, and bills of material.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in a similar field.
• Expertise with SolidWorks and/or NX design software.
• Experience with product design and development tools including Value and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, Design for Manufacture, Assembly and Inspection, CAD analysis, fluid dynamics, and 3D design tools.
• Ability to communicate across functional areas and internationally, work autonomously or collaboratively, and share experience with junior engineers.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
