Mechanical Assembler - Orion

Location: Alexandria, MN, USA; onsite at the Alexandria facility

Salary: $20.00–$29.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly operations for Orion stretch wrapping and robotic systems.
• Read assembly drawings, follow customer specifications, and comply with Brenton and Orion quality and assembly standards.
• Fit, align, lubricate, and adjust machine components including gearboxes, drive lines, motors, chains, sprockets, cams, and lube lines.
• Assist with machine testing, final adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Support customer personnel during machine installation, start-up, and training.

Requirements

• Two-year technical college degree preferred.
• Two to four years of mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical capability or the capacity to learn.
• Solid mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Employment eligibility in the United States is verified through E-Verify.
