Final Assembly Technician (Power Conversion)

Location: Dynapower, South Burlington, Vermont, United States; onsite. Full-time schedule Monday through Friday, generally 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with flexible start times between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m.

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Assemble power conversion equipment using subassemblies and parts from other production teams.
• Follow engineering documentation to locate and install subassemblies.
• Complete wiring and mechanical assembly according to electrical schematics and engineering prints.
• Verify that units are complete before sending them to testing departments.
• Organize assembly steps, solve production issues, collaborate with colleagues, and follow safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical and electrical assembly experience is preferred; candidates at all experience levels are considered.
• Good manual dexterity, coordination, stamina, and ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pinch, and grip for extended periods.
• Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds and push or pull objects weighing up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, head and hearing protection, and gloves.
• Eligibility to obtain authorization under ITAR and/or EAR is required; non-US persons may not be eligible.
