Electro/Mechanical Technician (Robotics)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States; onsite five days a week

Salary: $30.00–$45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble electro-mechanical systems, subassemblies, and components using work instructions, drawings, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, harness and fluid routing, sensor installation, and actuator installation.
• Complete quality checks and test procedures to verify assembly accuracy and system functionality.
• Support troubleshooting, rework, service, checkout, and production transitions.
• Identify documentation gaps, recurring assembly issues, part or tool problems, and opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
• Document completed work, issues, test results, and deviations while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, manufacturing, robotics, automation, equipment assembly, field service, or a related technical environment.
• Ability to read and follow assembly procedures, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, crimping tools, meters, and basic shop or production equipment.
• Ability to perform mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, cable routing, basic troubleshooting, and system-level checks.
• Strong communication, organization, reliability, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to safety, quality, and consistency.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move parts, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
