Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing)

Location: Aiken, South Carolina, United States; onsite, third shift

What you will do

• Assemble and disassemble gearboxes and related subassemblies.
• Install, align, adjust, and fit mechanical components and equipment.
• Set up and operate boring bar, drill press, milling, and honing machines.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Apply inspection techniques and use micrometers, gauges, indicator setups, scales, and torque wrenches.
• Work with the department supervisor and coworkers to maintain equipment quality and prevent faulty products.

Requirements

• High school education and previous manufacturing experience.
• Ideally three to five years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and understand work documents and communicate clearly.
• General knowledge of machine and equipment functionality, tools, parts, and system operation.
• Ability to work onsite on the third shift in Aiken, South Carolina.
