Maintenance Technician II - 2nd Shift - 4pm-230am

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States — Machine Shop; onsite, 2nd shift from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM

What you will do

• Repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, motors, receptacles, sensors, and PLC-based machinery.
• Read electrical and mechanical schematics, part manuals, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
• Install new equipment under the direction of engineering and according to equipment layouts.
• Operate and set up CNC equipment, manual mills, lathes, gauges, and forklifts carrying machinery and heavy loads.
• Maintain at least 80% compliance and logging for assigned preventive-maintenance work while following safety and LOTO requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or manufacturer OEM training.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with CNC equipment.
• Experience with CMMS, PLC-based machinery, pressure gauges, calipers, depth gauges, and related measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meet demanding deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
