Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Rushville, Indiana, USA; full-time onsite role with the ability to work any shift, including second shift.

What you will do

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and perform repairs, adjustments, rebuilding, and routine maintenance.
• Install, repair, and maintain facility equipment inside and outside the plant.
• Perform minor fabrication using mills, lathes, grinders, and related shop equipment.
• Complete electrical construction work, including conduit runs, wire pulls, terminations, and component installations.
• Maintain PLCs, CNC control circuits, primary power, and temperature-control systems.
• Support manufacturing processes, complete maintenance documentation, and follow safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical operations, including 480V three-phase systems, control power, AC/DC circuits, motor starters, and switchgear repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, shop mathematics knowledge, and blueprint-reading proficiency.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work any shift and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and other physical activities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of gas-fired burners and boilers.
