Maintenance Tech I - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States; onsite, full-time, third shift.

What you will do

• Perform multi-craft maintenance, fabrication, construction, installation, rebuilding, and repair of industrial equipment and physical plant systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, electromechanical systems, motion and motor controls, three-phase power, and AC variable frequency drives.
• Fabricate and machine components for fixtures, jigs, maintenance projects, and equipment modifications.
• Use blueprints, sketches, technical manuals, hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
• Operate powered industrial trucks, cranes, and other industrial access equipment safely.
• Maintain 5S standards and update CMMS records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work the third shift and any shift when required, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
• Ability to lift and move light and heavy parts and safely operate industrial equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial maintenance systems and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Manufacturing maintenance experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• At least one year of related experience.
• Technical knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, electromechanical systems, motor controls, three-phase power, and AC variable frequency drives.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
