Software Engineer, Data Team (Python)

What you will do

• Build and evolve a multi-tenant data platform serving as a shared data layer for applications.
• Develop and expand a Python data API using layered router, service, and repository architecture.
• Migrate business and data logic from legacy SQL Server stored procedures into testable Python.
• Integrate modern data sources and warehouses, including Snowflake, through a unified API.
• Improve data correctness, query performance, bulk data movement, and reconciliation across heterogeneous sources.
• Deploy and operate services using Docker, Azure, and infrastructure-as-code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong Python backend development skills, including FastAPI, Pydantic, and async/await.
• Strong T-SQL and expert-level SQL Server and data engineering experience, including query optimization, execution-plan analysis, indexing, set-based processing, ETL, and large-dataset performance tuning.
• Experience with data and service layers of enterprise applications and migrating stored-procedure logic into Python.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms and warehouses, with sufficient Azure and DevOps skills to deploy and operate services.
