Senior Engineer, IT (Data Engineering)

Location: Remote within the United States; Irving, Texas is listed as the role location. Requires 10% domestic travel.

Salary: $157,414–$162,125 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead moderately complex projects from technical design through completion.
• Manage administration failures and messaging events as an on-call subject matter expert.
• Test ETL processes, troubleshoot data issues, and perform data validation and unit testing.
• Develop data architectures and optimize pipelines for high-volume data storage, integration, and processing.
• Transform and model data for warehouse tables optimized for reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, MDM, and Data Governance teams on architecture, specifications, and defect resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 72 months of experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
• Python, PySpark, SQL, Linux shell scripting, and PowerShell.
• Azure data-processing services such as Databricks or Data Factory, plus Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• SAP integration using BODS or HANA, SAP HANA data objects, and underlying data models.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Lakehouse, data warehouses, ODS, data modeling tools, Kafka, SSIS or Informatica, Master Data Management, Data Governance, and data visualization and reporting.
