Middle Python Software Engineer

Location: Poland; remote or office work available

hirify.global is building a growing engineering team for an intergovernmental organization transforming patent granting and corporate services across Europe.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services.
• Build and maintain microservices and integrations across web, mobile, analytics, and corporate applications.
• Optimize performance, availability, scalability, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and scope custom applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform testing, and maintain system stability and reliability.
• Document engineering processes and outcomes and share techniques with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Proficiency with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with cloud platforms, SQL and NoSQL databases, and ORM tools.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
