Operator I Extruder - 1st Shift

Location: On-site manufacturing role; shift schedule is 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with overtime required as needed.

Salary: $19.56 per hour base wage. Hours worked between 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM may receive a $1 per hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up extrusion lines according to production schedules, bills of materials, and standard operating conditions.
• Select and install tooling and verify the correct resin for each production run.
• Start and continuously operate extrusion equipment, controls, and auxiliary drives.
• Test initial and finished products, make process adjustments, and verify that products meet specifications.
• Package and store finished products, complete production data collection, and perform quality-control tests.
• Troubleshoot processes, maintain process control, clean tooling, and follow applicable food-safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Ability to read metric and US customary measurements, read a ruler to the nearest quarter inch, and convert between measurement systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.

• Forklift certification.
