Production Technician 1 - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 10-hour first shift.

Pay: $15.00–$15.50 per hour, with the actual rate varying by location, education, skills, experience, shift, and performance.

What you will do

• Prepare finished products according to USPS standards and recognize printed address labels.
• Palletize and securely wrap finished goods, then coordinate movement to the finishing location.
• Load and unload production materials and perform basic machine setup and adjustments.
• Operate equipment such as 227, Alphaliner, and Ferag machines; respond to indicator lights and display screens.
• Clear jams, troubleshoot end-of-line equipment errors, and support production, quality, and output goals.
• Follow safety, security, housekeeping, and audit requirements while communicating with team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and perform basic math.
• Ability to multitask, assess obstacles, make minor non-mechanical adjustments, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, grip, squat, kneel, carry up to 17 pounds, and push or pull up to 40 pounds; overtime may be required.
