HVAC Operations Manager

Salary: $118,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate daily readiness of HVAC field teams, including tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and job documentation.
• Serve as the liaison between field crews and logistics, procurement, and scheduling teams.
• Conduct site visits and pre-installation walkthroughs to support active projects and confirm project parameters.
• Monitor safety standards, OSHA compliance, local building codes, installation quality, and customer expectations.
• Resolve operational obstacles, support warranty and rework investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate field technicians while collaborating with senior leadership on operating procedures and best practices.

Requirements

• Sheet Metal Worker License required.
• At least 5 years of management experience overseeing field teams, including prior HVAC installation and team-lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heat pumps, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and OSHA standards.
• Excellent English communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; proficiency with scheduling software, mobile work apps, field management tools, and general business tools.

Nice to have

• Master Licensed HVAC/R certification.
• HVAC NATE and Section 608 certifications.
