HVAC Service Supervisor

Location: Mesquite, Texas, United States. Full-time field role requiring reliable transportation and travel of at least 60 miles per day depending on project location; occasional long-distance travel and overnight stays may be required.

What you will do

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate commercial HVAC service work and installations with Service Managers, the MEP Director, Dispatch, Coordinators, and Project Managers.
• Perform and oversee HVAC installation, maintenance, repair, field inspections, and quality-control activities.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical HVAC issues and provide on-site technical support.
• Mentor, train, and support Service Technicians and Service Coordinators while developing best practices, procedures, and training materials.
• Review technician documentation, manage equipment and parts inventory, and maintain service schedules to reduce downtime.
• Enforce refrigerant-handling, electrical-safety, OSHA, code-compliance, and customer-service standards.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of HVAC service experience, including at least 5 years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current state-issued refrigerant license.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel for projects.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of applicable codes and local ordinances.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; strong written, verbal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• First Aid/CPR with AED certification.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• EPA certification and advanced trade licenses such as HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, or Gas Installer.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Build Opps, or service software.
• Familiarity with ABB, Watt-master, Aaon, MCS, Trane, Carrier, and JCI control systems.
