Supervisor, Applications Engineering

Location: Remote within the United States, with occasional required work at the North Andover, Massachusetts office for meetings, training, or other business needs. Up to 15% travel may be required for customer visits, training events, and company meetings.

Salary: $112,000–$128,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8–12 Application Engineers.
• Manage application engineering coverage, workload, prioritization, response times, and service-level performance.
• Provide expert guidance on product selection, system configuration, and application design for commercial and industrial use cases.
• Support sales through application reviews, proposals, presentations, and customer engagements.
• Resolve complex application escalations and oversee customer-specific solution development and validation.
• Partner with Product Management, NPD and manufacturing engineering, sales, technical services, quality, and manufacturing teams to improve products, processes, technical content, and customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related technical field.
• At least 7 years of experience in applications engineering, system design, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong experience with product applications, system integration, solution-based problem solving, and customer engagement.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, or fluid system applications; familiarity with North American building codes and product standards is beneficial.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and cross-functional initiatives independently.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IPC, UPC, ICC, ASSE, CSA, or UL/FM standards.
• SAP experience.
