Sr. Software Engineer - Test (SDET)

Location: Scottsdale, with a hybrid work model. The position is based in the United States and requires eligibility to work in the United States for any employer. The role is also associated with Phoenix, Arizona and Chicago, Illinois for compensation purposes.

Salary: $106,000–$130,000 USD per year, plus discretionary incentive eligibility and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop test strategies, plans, cases, reports, and automated testing frameworks.
• Build automated component, system integration, end-to-end, regression, backward-compatibility, and performance tests.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and execute automated and manual test suites before production releases.
• Report defects, coordinate with development teams, and manage issues through resolution.
• Improve testing methodologies and processes across API, web, and mobile products.
• Train, mentor, and support quality engineering team members while contributing to risk management and data protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development or test automation framework experience using at least two of Java, Ruby, Node, or Objective-C; Java is preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing integration, and test automation for API, web, hybrid mobile, iOS, or Android platforms.
• Experience with tools such as GitLab, Git, Eclipse, Android Studio, Xcode, Bamboo, Harness, Splunk, or AppDynamics.
• Experience with AWS or cloud environments and Kubernetes.
• Background and drug screening are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Android or iOS/Swift mobile programming experience.
• Experience with BrowserStack, Perfecto Mobile, Device Anywhere, or Amazon Device Farm.
• Experience testing REST, XML, SOAP, and JSON services, as well as system-level software, networking, and protocols.
• Performance/load testing and Agile or Lean methodology experience.
