Senior Global Supply Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global office in the United States, with in-office work required at least 3 days per week. Available office locations include Bozeman, MT; Coppell, TX; Livonia, MI; Louisville, CO; Mountain View, CA; Pittsburgh, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Seattle, WA.

Salary: $104,000–$166,000 per year, plus annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead supplier and contract manufacturer communication for purchase order management, expediting, invoice alignment, and change management.
• Generate and update high-volume purchase orders for sourced parts and builds based on dynamic bill-of-material revisions.
• Resolve shortages, expedites, commercial issues, quality escapes, nonconformances, rework, and scrap matters with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Track build schedules, turn times, kitting, component-to-manufacturer logistics, lead times, capacity, and supplier performance.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoices and purchase orders and maintain supplier credit standing.
• Drive engineering and program changes through supplier cut-in dates, E&O negotiations, purchase order updates, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of purchasing and commodity management experience focused on semiconductors or electronics.
• Experience managing a high-mix component portfolio across multiple concurrent programs.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor device types, packaging, and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Experience expediting parts, resolving commercial shortages, managing supplier escalations, and executing end-to-end change management.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States; the role requires hybrid attendance at a U.S. office.

Nice to have

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and PLM tools such as Agile or Arena.
• Experience managing semiconductor allocation cycles, broker buys, or spot-market sourcing.
• Familiarity with export control and ITAR considerations for electronic components.
• Knowledge of automotive or other safety-critical component standards such as AEC-Q and IPC.
• Experience with contract manufacturer logistics, kitting, rework, and scrap resolution.
