Group Manager, Supply Chain Operations

Location: Onsite in Newark, New Jersey, United States. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Travel of 10–15% may be required to visit customers, factories, or warehouses.

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Lead daily supply chain execution across demand and supply planning, procurement, logistics, distribution, and fulfillment.
• Set inventory strategies, targets, controls, and corrective actions to improve service levels, inventory turns, and working capital efficiency.
• Align demand forecasts, supply plans, and allocation decisions with Sales, Finance, Panasonic factories, and other stakeholders.
• Manage the complete customer order lifecycle, including order validation, allocation, scheduling, fulfillment monitoring, returns, claims, and escalations.
• Drive lean, process optimization, automation, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop a supply chain organization of approximately 30 employees plus an outsourced team of 20.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or distribution.
• Experience recruiting, developing, and managing a geographically distributed team.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, including order-to-cash, planning, and inventory management.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments; industrial components supply chain experience is preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, operational execution, analytics, communication, negotiation, conflict management, and change leadership skills.

• Experience running a high-volume industrial components supply chain.
