Freight Railroad Coordinator/EIT

What you will do

• Support rail project managers and engineers in developing track and civil design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Complete civil and track engineering assignments involving drainage, structural, and utility tasks.
• Develop design criteria, project guides, meeting notes, and project controls.
• Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
• Provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Hands-on experience with MicroStation, InRoads, and GEOPAK route design.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interest in railroad design.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate preferred; candidates without an EIT are expected to obtain it for career progression.
• Preference is given to local candidates.
