Project Manager (Education)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States. Four days per week are spent in the office, with flexibility to work elsewhere on Fridays.

What you will do

• Oversee one or more education-sector projects, including project teams, consultants, schedules, budgets, fees, and quality.
• Develop and maintain project plans covering schedules, milestones, staffing, deliverables, and submittals.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams, vendors, and external consultants to meet client expectations.
• Support business development through RFQ, RFP, interview, scope, fee, and agreement activities.
• Communicate project status, manage client-directed changes, and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with design leaders to maintain quality standards and integrate design expertise across project phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or interior design.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years as a project manager.
• Working knowledge of local building and zoning codes.
• Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, sustainable design principles, and the production of technical plans, drawings, and models.
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, with the ability to multitask while maintaining quality standards.
