What you will do

• Coordinate firmed production orders with manufacturing and support schedule execution and finished-goods delivery.
• Lead and guide work order coordinators and specialists responsible for supporting the production plan.
• Manage unplanned orders, material availability checks, delivery commitments, and communication with planning teams and customers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly production plans using demand, lead-time, capacity, inventory, and target-level information.
• Lead daily schedule reviews and weekly MPS lock discussions with cross-functional plant groups.
• Analyze actuals versus plan, report volume estimates and variances, maintain the INFOR planning system, and support new product introduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, science, or engineering; an MBA is desirable.
• Five years of materials management experience, including master production scheduling, inventory control, production activity control, and materials requirement planning.
• Experience with computerized inventory control systems and hands-on use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• SAP experience is required.
• Strong analytical, statistical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to evaluate forecasts, demand, capacity constraints, product mix, service levels, quality, and plant commitments in a changing environment.
