Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Dover, Delaware, United States; onsite at the Dover Plant. 2nd shift: 2 PM–11 PM.

Salary: $77,800–$97,300 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations for an assigned area and shift.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, quality, safety, and employee engagement objectives.
• Direct, develop, mentor, and support large teams of hourly associates through empowerment, teamwork, and on-the-job assignments.
• Develop, implement, and promote safety programs and safe work practices.
• Maintain effective employee and labor relations within the department.
• Support continuous improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisor role.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor large teams of hourly associates.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong accountability, consistency, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work effectively with plant personnel from hourly employees to senior management.

Nice to have

• BA/BS degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
