Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Not specified; second shift runs from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

Salary: $71,200–$92,600 annually, plus eligibility for the Quarterly Incentive Pay Program.

What you will do

• Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations and a group of approximately six or more employees.
• Plan and assign work, manage manpower and materials, and monitor production schedules, performance measures, inventory, and delays.
• Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, 5P, and other continuous improvement methods.
• Coach, train, mentor, evaluate, and address performance and employee relations matters, including employment and disciplinary decisions.
• Lead safety training, accident investigations, safety observations, and hazard mapping.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Planning, QA, technical teams, and other supervisors on inventory, quality, process, and new product introduction issues.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of experience directing an hourly or manufacturing workforce.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and business planning or inventory systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, Lean, Six Sigma, 5P, and continuous improvement experience.
• Ability to work the second shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm and perform standing, stooping, PC use, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
