Distribution Center Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Supervise warehouse staff, set performance expectations, provide coaching, and manage accountability and disciplinary actions.
• Interview, hire, schedule, assign work to, and evaluate warehouse employees while maintaining adequate daily staffing.
• Coordinate delivery routes and driver operations with territory owner-associates, including vehicle service and inspection records where required.
• Control the flow of materials through the warehouse, manage business-system queues, and maintain direct-through-stock processes.
• Oversee receiving, picking, packing, restocking, truck loading and unloading, shipping discrepancy research, and inventory cycle counting.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, product accessibility, safe procedures, and ongoing process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use barcode scanners, printers, warehouse equipment, tools, machines, and vehicles, along with basic math and reasoning skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, mentoring, coaching, and people-management skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for up to 8 hours in a distribution-center environment.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience supervising, leading, or managing distribution or warehouse operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in distribution, supply chain, business, or a related field.
